White Rush was written, directed and performed by Laine Rettmer with music by John Aylward and also starring Aliana LaGuardia.
White Rush is a hybrid performance work that unravels identity through shifting images, charged sound, and the unstable narratives we build in moments of crisis.
The work was premiered at the AREA gallery in Boston, MA, in fall 2017.
It’s is loosely inspired by the myth of Leda and the Swan and the life of Kurt Cobain.
