Fellows will receive:

• Lessons with guest composers

• Masterclasses with guest composers

• Workshops on instrumental techniques with Ecce performers

• Masterclass / Workshop with Special Guests Popebama

• A recorded reading session of a work in progress

• A recorded performance of a work on an Etchings Festival concert

• Fellows will be responsible for their own travel and accommodations.

• Events will take place at New York City’s Greenwich House, the DiMenna Center, and other venues.

• Tuition: $950

Applications will be accepted until May 10th, 11:59EST, 2024.
Notifications of acceptance will be made during the week of May 17th, 2024.

Applications should include:

·       Two scores representing your best work for any instrumentation (PDF)

·       Recordings of these works (optional) (MP3)

·       In lieu of uploading scores and/or MP3s along with your application, you may provide links to your scores and recordings but these links must remain active until May 17th. Please no links to downloads.

·       One or two works to be considered for performance during the festival (one will be chosen) for any combination of the following instrumentation:
Flute (alto/picc), oboe, clarinet (bass clarinet), violin, viola, cello, saxophone(s), piano, percussion.
(Note: Once selected, composers can also opt to compose a new work or revise an existing work. Final deadlines for all works to be programmed this summer is July 7th, 2024.)
